I have dual boot, dual drive (98ME / 2Kpro). Each OS is on a separate drive. I want to remove 98ME from "C" drive but retain the drive...Should I reformat it? I use "D", 2Kpro but would rather my files be on "C", as that is default for many downloads. Does it matter? I have instructions for removing "ME" but am unclear about files. I've sent most of the "C" files to the "D" drive in preparation for trashing ME. I'll also remove applications from "C". The files have "C" addresses and will be on "D" drive. Is that a problem? Must I change their addresses or just send them back to "C" when it's reformatted. Also, when using both drives, what is a workable allocation of the resource, outside of simply using one as a mirror of the other. I have external back-up.
