I have a dual monitor setup on my pc. Gforce4 440 128mb agp card and an ATI rage 128 pro pci. My problem is that when i am playing media ie music, video etc. i get distorted sound when i open, close, maximize, move any window on the monitor that is on the ati rage card. I remove the card and the sound distortion goes away. I have moved the monitors around, i have updated drivers for EVERYthing in this mess. I have an ECS mobo k7s5a with sis7012 integrated sound. cannot find ANY references for this type of problem. The only thing i haven't done is tried another pci card to replace the ATI. I would just like to know why there is distortion.

    THanks in advance!

I tried a different pci slot..........nothing. I will try a different video card. It's just frustrating cause i would like to know why. I have set up dual displays before using ati cards with similar mobos with problems. Thanks for the help.
