Hi guys

This may sound like a stupid question, as it probably is. A friend asked me the other day, and I thought I was sure about the answer, but I decided to check it out anyway.

The question is, with a dual processor computer is it possible to allocate different tasks to each processor? She has about 20 models to run, and was wondering if you could allocate 10 to run as a batch on one processor, and the other half of them to run on the other.

As it's not my computer, I'm not sure of the exact spec, though I'm not entirely convinced that it matters!

Just a simple yes or no answer is good enough!

Thanks

I know you can set the Affinity for Processes using Task Manager in Windows XP. By default all cores/processors are used but you can specify only one of them.
