    Hi

Ive aquired two VGA screens which I'm looking to connect to my laptop to duak screen.

My laptop only has a hdmi port so I'm confused as to how or if it's possible to go about it. A chap in the office supplies store said it was possible but they didn't have the kit. Pc world said it wouldn't work (but I think they where trying to pursuad me into buying new screens with hdmi).

Does anyone know if I bought a VGA splitter and run it to a hdmi to vga converter of this would work or would this just mirror to laptop screen to both screens.

If you send the same signal to both screens (which may not even work with a splitter) then the screens will show the same thing.

You can get one external screen to work with an HDMI to VGA converter like this :- https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/LESHP-HD...7131c47:g:8KYAAOSw651cJJ6s:rk:5:pf:0&LH_BIN=1

Don't get an adapter cable, they usually don't work. You want an adapter/converter with electronics like the one at the link. I have one and it works well.

You will also need a VGA male to male cable.
