duplicate files

    Antivirus: Microsoft Security Essentials ok i have a bunch of duplicate files i used glary utilities to scan for duplicates i want to delete all of the duplicates but when i check the files i want gone it says i need permission i am the only user on here so how do i get permission to delete these duplicate files

    right click run as administrator ( or start the programe you are using to delete as administrator)

    but be very wary of deleting duplicates as many are back ups etc system files

    start run type sfc /scannow enter to check sys files are all in place

    Cleaner/booster/optimizer/tuneup type programs, especially the ones that "clean/fix" the registry, are going to cause you grief sooner or later.

    And you don't need to be using one that finds and deletes duplicate files.

    Stay away from them!
