When i partially type in the name of the person i want to send an email to, it either auto completes it, or shows me a bunch of names i can send it to. This is all fine and normal, but All of a sudden today, when it gives me the names i can send it to, there are 2 copies of each name. when i open the "addresses" tab, there's only one entry. so why, when autocomplete shows me names are there 2 of each?
    i use OE6.0

thanks for your help in advance

You could turn off autocomplete in OE and just use the address book, not sure of the other problem..autocomplete thing

Funnily enough, I had a similar problem with the FONTS on this pooter, where every one had a double, and yeat there ws only one of each in C:\Windows\Fonts. I can't remember how I solved that one though! Maybe try searching the Knowledgebase at the Microsoft site to see if there are any articles regarding this phenomena.
