I have read numerous posts on how to fix this problem and none of them seem to work. I have tried deleting the upper and lower registry files. Removing and plugging it back in. I even tried restoring my computer to Factory settings and the drive still wont work. The only time it get any signal out of it is when i first turn my computer on during the 1st initial loading screen then nothing after the screen is gone.

Have you tried putting another drive in the PC? It may be that the drive is bad. If the other drive does the same thing your PSU may be going out and is not strong enough to support it.
