I have 2 CDROMS, one is a DVD. I just reinstalled Win XP and I couldn't transfer data from the DVD drive to the hard disk. When checking the device manager in IDE ATA/ATAPI controllers, the secondary IDE channel had the transfer mode grayed and unchangeable and said: current transfer mode not applicable. The other channels are ok with DMA transfer mode. How do I make this drive able to transfer like it was before the reinstallation?
    Thanks
