dvd drive goes in and out

    running windows 7 home pro
    custom built pc

    have tried unintall and reinstall...no work

    here is screenshot of device manager...

    it will show up and work for a while then it dissapears and stops...any suggestions?

    I have tried reg edit fix but no upper or lower filters there???

    Does it pop out as soon as you turn on the machine? How long does it stay out before it closes and then how long before it opens again? Does it matter if there is a CD in it?

    Shows up when pc starts lasts for hour or so then dissapears

    Doesnt matter if cd is in drive
