Will a DVD+R play in a regular DVD-Rom? I thought they would but when I read the specs on a regular dvd-rom it only lists support for DVD-R. Thanks.

Depends how old it is. Modern ones will play slightly older ones won't.
At the moment it's pot luck until they settle down with a definite standard and manufacturers work it out

    It's VHS v Betamax again

My intention was to go out and buy a new dvd-rom, however in the specs of all of them it only says it supports dvd-r not dvd+r. That is what worries me. Thanks for the reply.
