DVD Ram was developed by Panasonic and is a special type of DVD. It is the standard for some of thier DVD recorders used as television addons.

I have yet to find any software that supports the Panasonic television format so copying DVDs is difficult but there does appear to be a file system on the DVDs which can be read by Windows.

In theory the DVD RAM should be a larger capacity than a normal DVD with the correct software.
