DVD Ripping and reducing the storage size

    Hi ,

    I get movies DVD which in size are appr. 8 gb.. but the blank dvds i get from the market are just 4.75 gb. so i cannot makr a copy of that Original movie dvd and as my comp is nearly full on size.. i burn movies to dvd so can watch later.. so i was just wondering is there any way to reduce the size of 8. gb Dvd to 4.75 so that i can burn it easily.. please let me know as its giving a lot of troubles..as i have bought so many 4.75 gbs Balnk Dvds.. n they are nearly no use now..
