Hi Everyone just a quick question....

I want to rip my dvd collection to my external hard drive. I have been advised to use DVD Shrink to rip the movie which seems to work fine... I will then use Guardian Knot to convert the DVD files to .AVI format.

However in the future I will want to burn the AVI file to a blank DVD, but with subtitles.

Is there a way in the above programs - or does anyone know of a program - that will allow me to rip the subtitles ftom the dvd so i can save it in the same folder with the AVI - and also how would i burn the AVI along with the subtitle file so that it can be played in a regular DVD player.

    Thanks in advance.

You should have checked the site rules. Won't find any help here.
