Hi, has anyone ever made a screen capture from a DVD or other video?
If so, can you detail the process and name the software used.
I have all but exhausted my resources and end up with a completely black image every time.

    Thank alot

Most dvd playback software (Powerdvd, Windvd etc) have stills capture facilities - what are you using?

In WMP hit ctrl-I. For prt-scr or other applications you have to turn off hradwre acceleration. R9ght click your desktop.... properties>settings>advanced>troubleshoot

Most DVD playing software has this feature, some wer mentioned above. My personal favorite is PowerDVD. Overall it gives the best playback and deinterlacing on the fly IMO.
