Ez all,

The graphics card I recently bought has a DVI-D connection on the back which I have been using with an adapter for HD15. This was giving me horrible results on screen with lines going across it so I bought a DVI-D cable and used that as I have both connections on my monitor.

Really just wondering whether there are any major differences with these two types and whether I am losing out on screen image quality or resolution or anything. I have searched google but can't seem to find the answers I am looking for.

Cheers in advance

DVI is a digital connection, HD15 is an older-style analog connection. DVI will give you a clearer picture and is the one to use.
