Help!!! I am using Microsoft ME with Outlook Express. Whenever I get e-mail, I can open it, but if there is a link to a web-site within the e-mail and I click on it, the system won't let me into it and then it freezes up. The only way to "un-freeze" is to CNTRL ALT DEL. This problem just started about a week ago and I can't find anyone who can help me.

well that could be happening for several reasons...

    1. Do you have a firewall such as zone alarm?

    2. Do you have an antivirus on your e-mail?

    3. How do you have the security setup on OE?
to check OE's security setting go to tools in OE then to options.
Under the security tab make sure you do not have it set for restricted zone

    Try these things:

    1) Clear your temporary internet files, history and cookies in Tools/Internet Options.
    2) Make sure IE5 is set as your default browser. Go to IE tools/internet options/programs and turn on the check box for IE to check if it is the default browser. Shut down and restart IE. When it asks to be default browser, say yes.
    3) Read the following article: Internet Shortcuts in Outlook Express Don't Start Browser

    Good luck,
