    I have a computer a friend recieved from an office upgrade. It had Win 2000 PRO on it, was connected to a network, I have run Fdisk, reformatted and run ckdsk for him to rid it of all (office) data ( which should have already been done). Is there anything Win2000 does I need to know about that will keep me from starting from scratch and installing XP? :)

    [tsg=welcome] Welcome! [/tsg]
    If you FDISKed the drive, there is nothing left on it. It doesn't matter what OS was previously on the drive.

    A friendly tip...you will get more help if you use a short description of the problem as the title of your thread instead of your name.
