When I receive forwarded emails, often there's a blue vertical line to the left of the forwarded message (sometimes 2 or 3). Since I always clean up emails before I forward them (strip them of forward addresses, advertising at bottom, etc.) how can I get rid of that blue line to the left of the message? I can eliminate the horizontal ones...but that one refuses to go! Would appreciate help on this!

When your reading the email high light and copy it and then in the replay or forward delete the message and paste what you copy and it should show up without the forward blue line.

Thanks, heewee. I was hoping there was a way to clean it up just from the forward instead of all the copy paste into a new email but, guess not. I can edit everything else out but that. Appreciate your input!

There may be other ways but not that I know of. I got thunderbird and got the NestedQuote Remover.
    http://mozext.achimonline.de/nestedquoteremover_screenshots.php
But it only work on some things. Plus how you view your email changes how the Quote looks.
Plain text view your see the > and the other view like simple html and normal html it has the blue line.
But if the email already had the blue line and you click reply it make another blue line and the one that was already there is a red line. NestedQuote Remover only removed the one red line. So it never works like you really want it to.
I use stripmail http://www.stripmail.net/ and like it and it cleans up the > and the | line and others things too.
