Hi
I’m using Microsoft Home and Business 2010
Windows 7 64 bit on a PC

Hope this is the proper Forum

I’m having a problem with the help icon
When I click it in MS Office or Excel, I get the following:

“Help View has encountered an unexpected problem and cannot continue”

I’ve tried the following with no success

I tried using the F1 key…error message

In each program I went to the File tab and clicked on Help…error message

I went to Uninstall and clicked on Repair …error message

I went to APP DATA >>>LOCAL and deleted the Microsoft Help file
And
I went to PROGRAM DATA and deleted the Microsoft Help file

After the deletions, I clicked on the help icon in Office and I got a box that the program is configuring the viewer, Then it tries to run it. Then the error message came up
I then went to Excel. The error message came up
I went back to both places that I deleted the help file and there is a new help file with the date and time that I tried to run the help viewer

I did a complete scan using Norton Antivirus and tried again after repairing and then after deleting

I ran adwcleaner and tried again after repairing and then after deleting

I don’t know what else to do
