I have an ELSA Microlink 56K Internet modem which is presenting me with a strange problem. I am running Windows 2000 Pro and it detects the mode with no problem. Control Panel shows the modem and diagnostics talks to modem and shows its usual modem stuff. When I try to dial out using Juno Platinum, it says that Windows isn't showing any modem. If I go to Juno's modem management window it shows the modem and I can select it. But it still says no modem when I try to dial. If I go to Hyperterminal it will dial out but then I can hear nothing and it does not connect.

I have sent 4 e-mails to Elsa tech support and hav yet to get a reply.

    Does anyone have any ideas????
