My Emachine 5250 (windows xp) has just been fixed, but it has now got a jammed disc drive, it wont eject when i press the button and also wont eject from the my computer way. So i was just wondering:
A: Anyone got any ideas to open it? (not taking it apart)
B: Do you know where the manual eject button is because i cant find it (to push it with a pin) is it behind a panel? if so which one?

I really want to open it because its got a game in it, thanks in advance :D

The hole is on the upper right of dvd drive.
Just stick a pin in there and the drive will open.

The hole can be either side of the drive just below the drive tray.

the hole is tiny get a paper clip and straighten it and push it in . if u have a fancy door on your cd /dvd drive just open the door w/ a knife and the hole will be behind the fancy silver or black door it may be low so look for it

it is the door covering the drive it just matches your faceplate to make it look nicer (when you eject the drive it is the door that drops down then the tray comes out
