emachines factory restore help

Can anyone tell me how to do this? It has windows vista it wont boot itself up. It goes to start windows normally then goes to a blue screen with writting all over it, then back to start windows normally... Pls help this is my sons computer and im getting annoyed trying to fix it.. pls save me from throwing it out the window tyvm

What error message is on the blue screen?Once we know what the message is someone can narrow it down to what the exact problem is.Blue screens are caused by a lot of things some serious and some just annoying.

As the computer is booting up, press F10 repeatedly.

This should allow you to access a Recovery Partition if one is installed on your system.

If F10 doesn't work, try F11 or F12.

Did any CD's come with the computer?

If so, it's likely one of them is a Recovery CD.
