I recently upgrade my outlook express from 5.0 to 6.0. Now everytime I get attachments they are ghosted and I can't open them. When I open up the mail that they come in it says "OE removed access to the following unsafe attachments in your mail" The first time this happened I thought it was actually just an unsafe attachment but I have received many since and some from trusted sites and people. Could some one tell me how to fix this.

    Thanx

it's probably the security option has been changed.......

    1. Open OE
    2. Click Tools, point to Options, and then click the Security tab.
    3. Uncheck "Do not allow attachments to be saved or opened that could potentially be a virus."
    4. Click OK

Just to add to the above info OE thinks all attachments are viruses so refuses any attachments.

it's another of Uncle Bill's quirks, OE is either so open to any security risks or so closed taht it can't be used, why isn't there a happy medium
