I know you have people that don't know how to copy and paste so they just forward the already forwarded emails. Sometimes I have to open 4 or 5 attachements to get to the text.

Is there a way to to check the email without all the hassle?

While trying to figure out a way to solve my problem I right clicked on the attachement in a forwarded email and choose "Quick Veiw". It gave me a preview of what was in there. Would this release a virsus if present are not?

I doubt it, I think Quick View is all ASCII.
A way to test is send yourself an email with a photo in it, and use Quick View. If the photo shows up, its possible that a Quick View contains a malicious script or something like that, or other executable code. But to execute a regular executable virus, you would still have to run an executable attachment, such as .exe or .scr files.

I tried this and it only shows simple text, no html or graphics of any kind.

What else can be done to bypass all the fwds. and see the original as sent?

File\Properties\Details\Message Source\Maximize.

Not much better but it gives me a chance to see what is in there without really opening it.

Just realized what you said so this will not help.

There might be a way but I don't have an email I can check it out on.

Right click the attachment in the FWD email and click "Quick View".
