    Hi, I'm having a problem with my email. I was clearing out my folders and notice an email in my junk file sent from myself to myself. Same email to and from. It was flagged as important and having read it, it is clearly spam. I checked Windows Live Mail and found a couple more of these emails that have been sent from me, to me.

    I tried searching for this online but apart from some answers about email 'worms' I don't know what's caused it, if my account is at risk/should be deleted, or how to fix it. Any help would be appreciated.

    I got up the message source in Windows Live Mail and the top of this (before the HTML for the email) is as follows, I have blocked out my email address with [email protected] for privacy:

    X-Message-Delivery: Vj0xLjE7dXM9MDtsPTA7YT0wO0Q9MjtTQ0w9Ng==

    Thanks for the links they're great. On the last link, 'How do spammers...', there's a link which doesn't work to http://www.cs.rochester.edu/u/ferguson/BrowserCheck.cgi, it says this will check if your browser uses the HTTP_FROM header to pass your email address to every web server you visit.

    Do you know of a working link for one of these or does anyone know which browsers do this and which don't? I'm concerned about the safety of the browser I use.
