Email not sending

    Hi Guys,

    gotta a machine that is on ADSL as from last monday, when it was on good old dial up it would connect in the UK to pick up mails from France via wanadoo. No on ADSL you can recieve mails but not send. Checked smtp, pop, mail address etc any ideas I think it could be authorisation ?????cheers in advance

    Most DSL Providors require that you use their SMPT settings to send mail . . have you changed the smtp settins since moving to dsl?

    What email program are you using?? Outlook Express??

    The SMTP settings for dial and ADSL are the same for wanadoo smtp.wanadoo.fr. I have removed the old account and put in a new one using the correct isp set up. Its Outlook. Thanks for the replies

    Outlook or Outlook Express? 2 different programs and different settings....

    Its Outlook not outlook express. SMTP server is smtp.wanadoo.fr
