email pictures..

    When I email attach file..Picture ..
    It is always to big to view..How can I fix this
    problem..:confused:

    Have try to make smaller and copy and paste
    into my email..Still comes out really big..

    Can Any one can tell how to fix this problem??

    Howdy

    How are you resizing...try Irfanview...it's a pretty good tool for resizing and viewing images...

    500 to 600 pixels in either direction is about max for emails

    once resized... then when your in a new message click the attachment icon and browse to the file to attach it

    EDIT... when you resize be sure you save as the result so the original will be retained
    you can also do it with Paint...with the image open click image then sketch/skew then enter a percentage in both horizontal and vertical and click OK...then save as

    :) Thanks Buck52.. I downloaded Irfanview...It works great..
    I send a Photo to my self..It is a lot smaller..

    They have been coming out 5x7 and larger..My friends said
    they could not view the photo..Too big for there screen..

    Thanks so much...This board has helped me so much.. :)

    Going to go play with Irfanview.. Looks like there is a lot
    of things you can do with Irfanview.. thanks again.. ;)
