    Hi all

been having a problem with my email since I changed provider and went back to using just one email, obviously I cannot use previous providers email (see message (below) I got ,(in bold and underlined) so you can differentiate from post and email

To test I went on to a real-estate site and sent myself email from the web site about a property) wanted to test what others were trying to tell me about the emails.

I do not know which direction to look as to why people are getting this message when they send me an email. (I AM RECIEVING ALL EMAILS SENT TO ME - no problem there) despite what the message says.

I did at one point have my clickatech email diverted to my BigPond email, (while I was away) I have asked for this to be stopped (before I changed providers) I called him today and he has said that the divert has been taken off, he double checked, maybe he is missing something else when taking the divert off?

Is my BigPond email profile still about? Have they not deleted it when I disconnected my service with them (cannot see how this would be happening or why it would affect current email but just throwing it out there)

Just wondering if anyone has a clue before I call my current provider, previous provider or Clickatech as to who would be the one to fix this problem

Much appreciate any pointers in the right direction

    Cheers

    Serena

This message was created automatically by mail delivery software.

A message that you sent could not be delivered to one or more of its recipients. This is a permanent error. The following address(es) failed:

    xxxxxx@bigpond.com

    (Ultimately generated from [email protected])

all hosts for 'bigpond.com' have been failing for a long time (and retry time not reached)

I sent test emails to both addresses. Unless you wish to get spam sent to both addresses you might want to remove them.

The email I sent only to [email protected] address was the one that returned the "could not be delivered" message. That message was sent to me from the clickatech.com server

I did not get any returns or delivery failure messages for the email I sent directly to your @bigpond.com address from my Gmail account. It is possible that the BigPond mail server is just deleting the emails being sent to your closed BigPond account instead of rejecting it back to the sending mail server.

I suggest you communicate with the support department at clickatech.com as to if some incoming server configuration is still set to forward your emails to BigPond. I would also ask them to explain the "all hosts for 'bigpond.com' have been failing for a long time (and retry time not reached)" portion of the failure notice. Are they actually trying to forward the emails and not getting confirmations from BiGPond or are they sending the failure notices for all mail going to BigPond based on past history?

Thanks all, have reverted back to Office Outlook 2007 on the computer and put one address only there (tpg new one) after taking off 2010, i transferred pst files or whatever they are called so no previous pst file there before putting 2007 on, (used revo uninstaller) yet my tpg email is getting emails from the other clickatech email, yet the divirt that went to a bigpond email (no longer in existence) seems to have diverted to an email its never been diverted to, tell you one thing, i never had problems like this with my work email, but for now i have my clickatech on my phone and the tpg on the computer
