Can't open some pictures sent with email and can't open
email sent in MIME.

Have reloaded directX + active X + all service packs for
internet explorer 6 + several direct X that are new.

In The past I have been able to open all pictures sent to me but have never been able to open MIME email sent to
me

What do I need to do???????? [email protected]

Check under the Tools -> Options menu, and click on the Security tab. There is a check box that reads Do not allow attachments to be saved or opened that could potentially be a virus. Uncheck that box and try to re-open the message.

Do you get any error messages when you attempt to open pictures from the email?

No error messages, but in many of the situations when I cannot open an email picture - a frame shows where the picture would be
and there is a box in the top left of the frame with either a red X in it - or in the small box there is a colored dot, a triangle and a
square. is this a message that I need to reload something??

P.S. I tried the tool box > security - the "do not allow
attachments"...etc. WAS unchecked.

Thanks for the message.

I disabled the AV software, sent myself a picture
attached to email.

Same problem. Picture would not open.

Additional suggestions - anyone ?
