    Can your emails be erased from the original source, and if so can they be retrieved?

    Yes, the person in control of the source can delete the email that was sent to you.

    Yes, the deleted email can usually be retrieved if it has not yet been overwritten.

    There is a function where someone can 'unsend'... though most of the time doesn't seem to work for me.

    I received emails that were erased from the host server. Are they retrievable?
