If none of the in-program veiw text size adjustments is not adequate or you cannon or don't want to click on forward and then highlight the text and change font size to something readable then you might have to copy the text over to a word processing program and enlarge it there.

On every PC I use, I set up a keyboard shortcut "CtrlAltN" to open Notepad (it could be any program, but Notepad is quick for this).

Then, any time I come up with a quick need to read odd text, such as you pointed out, and the tool at that time does not permit an easy way of enlarging that text, I just:
    select the text,
press Ctrl-C (to copy the selection),
    press CtrlAltN (to open Notepad),
then press Ctrl-V to paste and read.

The Notepad will strip off any weird characters, and graphics, and the default size of the font is very readable.

It is a quick way to get "clean" text too (clean text allows easy insertion into other tools, with no oddball formatting).
