I think our server for the web site has been “high jacked” for lack of better terms.

We are receiving Email failure deliveries for Email that was never sent from us.

This number is increasing at an alarming rate.

Some how they are using this Email address to launch their SPAM campaigns.

Would you please help me in determining what I should do and how much damage has been done to the Kofutu name?

Is their any way we can track this information back to its origin. And prevent this from happing in the future to other peoples Email addresses.

Two my knowledge this is against the law. Are there not agencies out there that follow up on this type of inappropriate misuse of the Internet?

Please let me know what I should do at [email protected] I will be monitoring this Email today from 2:30 pm Central to 9:00 pm tonight. my phone number is 612-964-7852

If you know of anyone that deals with this type of situation please forward this Email to him or her.

First off, edit your post and remove your email address and phone number.. This is a public forum and the wrong people can get ahold of that info and wreck havok.. Email sources can be faked, so it may not have come from Kofutu. Email addresses are harvested by speciallized tools from web pages, so don't make your email known to those you don't wish to recieve mail from. If your email address is on your website, then mask it http://www.1000files.com/Internet/Anti-Spam/Email_Mask_7144_Review.html .
