I've started to get some emails that come through in HTML (at least that's what I think this is). Here's one I copied/pasted for an example. I don't know why this is happening, how to make it stop or why it only affects certain emails. Any help out there?

    First Name:
Almost looks like SPAM or the emails that come with a virus as an attachment.

What email program are you using? You may want to do a virus scan and a adaware/Spyware scan(with Adaware or Spyware).

some clients.. or say newsletters you sign up for also send their emails in html form.. when you subscribe you can choose text based or html based.. also ONLY open those emails from people you know and trust. That one would be SPAM for sure..
spybot search and destroy is a good program
and Adaware 6 from www.download.com is excellent
    Do you have good firewalls?
sygate is a brilliant one to keep out unwanted nasites
