    Hi all,

As per title, the business emails we are sending keep going into spam and losing us business as customers think we are ignoring them and not checking their junk box

Never had this problem until recently, we are on 1&1 webmail, had the email address for about eight years and never send spam, mainly just replying to emails coming in or sending quotes after viewing

    Many thanks for any help

Contact 1and1, your email is most likely on a shared server and a spammer is also on that same server. (877) 461-2631
I also use 1and1 and this has happened to me several times and 1and1 has been very good about switching to a clean server.

    Hi Dave,

Just given them a call and they’ve said my web domain doesn’t have a SPF record (this means nothing to me!) so apparently they’ve added one and this will take affect in a few days? Hopefully this helps!

    Thanks

"Spammers might send emails that appear to come from your domain. This is called spoofing. You can add a Sender Policy Framework (SPF) record to your domain host to help your recipients know where emails from your domain should be coming from and that they aren't spoofed."

Basically this should help to confirm that the emails are from the correct person and should go into their Inbox... but then your clients may still need to add you to their safe senders list.
