    Hi,
One my friends suggested Emule to look for downloads, so I downloaded a version of Emule. For some reason it won't connect when I click the connect button. Any ideas folks.

    Hiya

Never used Emule, but do you have a firewall installed? Which version of Windows are you running?

    Regards

I have ME and yes I do have a firewall, I've tried not only disabling it but also uninstalling it without any luck.

Thanks Tele, but the reason I downloaded Emule was because Kazza was doing the same.

    try this BroadbandReports forum post

pics may look a little different, as it's from a few versions ago, but basically the same

you need to give firewall access to tcp port 4662 and udp port 4672
