Enable Hibernate

How to enable Hibernate option in Windows XP? Becose in place of hibernate there is Disabled Standby.

Go to Control Panel / Power options / hibernate tab. You can enable it from there if your computer has ACPI enabled in the BIOS (and it was enabled when Windows was installed).

Beware that it reserves the same amount of disk space for itself as you have got RAM memory so that when you enter the hibernate state the contents of RAM can be written to the HD. Returning from hibernate returns the PC to the same state, with all the same programs running, exactly as it was before.
