I ahve followed the instructions for enabling DMA on my drives
and I am getting stuck. According to two sources on Windows XP pro after entering the device manager and selecting the ATA /Atapi IDE interface I am supposed to double clikc on the channel I want to enable DMA on and then go to the advaced options tab... The problem is I do not have that tab. there is only three tabs and they are General, Driver , and resources. I have a System admin privelages and cannot figure out whyt I dont have this option please help me.

Make sure DMA is enabled in BIOS.
Make sure your drives support DMA
Make sure you are using 80pin IDE cable for Hard drive
