enabling regedit

    does anyone knnow how to enable regedit?
    in my system it asks for administrator rights

    It is not a matter of enabling regedit, it is a matter of whether your account has the "rights" to do that. If your account is not an administrator account, you will not be able to use regedit until your account is recognized as an adminstrator. If you are using Windows XP then open control panel and then select user accounts. That will reveal whether or not your account has admin rights. If not, your admin or you need to login with the administrator account and change your account. You will then be able to use regedit. Do so with care, a small slip and Dr. Ron's bottle of FDISK Oil will be your only cure.
