    I permanently get pop-ups on my computer saying go to this website to get rid of pop-ups like this!!!! It is 'endads.com' or something like that? I have 'Spybot' etc.. but I still don't know what I can do to stop ads like that appearing?

    Any suggestions?

    well, I believe the messages you are getting are through Windows Messaging System and people found a way to use this program to send messages without being blocked. (these messages are like when you send a file to a printer and it comes up with a message saying it has printed, that kind) Now I think I got a message like that today and it was blocked. I am using Pop-Up Blocker (free). But majority of the time the addresses are wrong, plus I don' t trust these companies sending messages like that and telling you to go to another site to stop them...

    If theses are coming as a result of the Messenger service, you can run a free utility Shoot the Messenger that should stop the pop-ups.

    Thanks for the help guys I haven't received any pop-ups since I've made the changes, so I hope it stays this way!!!!(y)
