    hi every one,
    when printing a nozzle check the black lines are partly coming out blue any ideas anyone

    Most 4 color printers mix colors to get grayscale for B&W graphics. The resolution is much higher from the color heads is why they do that. They use the large pigmented black tank for text.

    I don’t have an Epson but my guess is that some of the black lines on the nozzle check must mix the colors to get black and you have a color head that is partially clogged.

    I would think you have already run cleaning cycles. Make sure you get the colors if Epson gives you that choice.

    was not aware that the color heads are used in this fashion,cleaning seems to cure problem.

    with reguards to people around you losing their head while you keep yours,trying landing your chopper somewere else
