My Epson WF-3540 printer has a message that there is a paper jam. I have checked multiple times and there is no jam. I gone through all the recommended methods and still the same message. Is there a solution out there somewhere?

This isn't your model but you might want to open up your WorkForce printer and check if you have a spring.

plodr, There is no spring. Image looks just like my 3540, Everything in the area of the image looks like my printer but everything is hard plastic.

Sorry. That's about all I found besides the usual "recommended" fixes"

One person took out all the ink carts then put them back in and the paper jam issue was gone. (It didn't sound logical but when it comes to computers and hardware, illogical things happen.)

Finally got it working. I took a sheet of paper towel and folded it lengthwise until it waw about 3/4 inch wide. Unplugged the printer. I was able to slide the ink cartridge case back and forth. I then put the cartridge case to the right. Put the folder paper towel under the case. I slid the case over the paper towel about 15 times. The paper towel absorbed a lot of ink. I then power up the printer and the paper jam was gone. Quality of ink is great again. plodr, thanks for all your imput.

My second printer is also giving me fits. I use off brand cartridges. I have for years and never had a problem. The printer worked fine then it suddenly stopped printing and told my to use Epson cartridges. Guess I should put this on as a separate problejm.
