    Hiya,
My Epson C46 printer although old is normally very good, however today it stopped printing and said "paper jam" which was not correct.
It now refuses to feed any more paper in despite it having nothing in it.
Has anybody come across this before?

Two likely causes: 1) Something is actually jammed in the printer, or 2) a sensor is dirty or faulty.

You can perform a thorough visible inspection and/or try blowing it out with compressed air. But it's likely a faulty sensor.

From what I can see, it's a low end printer from 2010, and not worth much effort to fix. Very likely time to simply replace it.

    Many thanks for your reply.
Hopefully it is now ok after I removed a tie wrap from it.
