Sorry to bother, I have a prob. I was uninstalling useless software, but I accidentally uninstalled SiS Multimedia. After doing so, My screen configuration is in 16 colors and in a very low resolution and I can't change it back. Because of this, I'm not able to run certain programs that need a particular resolution. Please help me as fast as you can.

You will need to re-install your graphics drivers. These should be on a Cd Rom which came with you machine. SIS are quite often bundled with a motherboard with onboard graphics, if so they will be on the motherboard disk.

Depending on your system which you really need to post, in win 98 or Me right click my computer, click properties, device manager, double click the display adapter, double click the display card shown, select the driver tab and update driver, navigate your way to the location in the CD Rom where the SIS driver is.

If this does not work post your machine and operating system. If you do not have the driver there are other places it can be obtained.

If you go to this site http://www.sisoftware.net and download Sisandra 2004 run the program and obtain details of the exact graphics card you have, then visit www.driverguide.com, 'you will need to register' search and download the drivers for your card, then follow the instructions first given.
When posting it is always wise to give your machine spec and operating system as well it saves going back and forth.

    Welcome to TSG

You have a SIS chipset on the motherboard but that does not identify the actual board other than to say it is SIS600. Try these sites which be give more information specific to your board and or Graphics Card fitted. Which is what needs to be done to locate the drivers.

Try this one first and follow the links to (Identify Your Product.
    http://download.sis.com/index1.htm
    If thats no good try
    http://www.belarc.com/free_download.html

If u have the identity of the board to hand even better.
