erasing the address bar.

i was wondering how you delete the address bar for IE. i'm sick of seeing start.earthlinks taking up the whole thing, so i'm going to start from scratch with a new start page, but i can't figure out how to delete the address bar...help!

Don't you just right click on the tool bar and uncheck the address bar, think you do if your browser is IE.

If you mean that you want to clear the drop-down list in the address bar, that list is supposed to be cleared by clicking on the Clear History button on the General Tab in Internet Explorer's Tools>Internet Options>General Tab but I've found that doesn't always work.

If it doesn't clear the list for you, in Internet Explorer go to Tools>Internet Options>Content tab>Auto Complete button and uncheck the box next to Web Addresses. Click OK.
