For some reason my two CD/DVD drives are not being recognised by my computer. When I troubleshoot the drives I get the following response:

"Windows cannot load the device driver for this hardware. The driver may be corrupted or missing. (Code 39)"

I've uninstalled the device and reinstalled, but it just finds the drive and then says a problem occurred during installation and the device may not be working properly (which of course it isn't).

I've also tried updating the drivers but it says that the ones found are the most up to date.

Can anyone point me in the right direction? I find it very suspicious that both drives have "disappeared" together.

Cheers,

Keith
