    Hello,

I am a new member and for some time now, I've been experiencing the Error 403 Forbidden on a website named www.TheGarageGazette.com

My operating system is Mac 10.6.8, Macbook Pro and I use the latest version of Google Chrome.

I have cleared my cache both ways via the terminal and the other method throught the library and even my browser history, but no luck either way.

I have some IT knowledge, but at this point, I don't know what to do anymore.

Thank you very much for any and all help.

i can get to the site fine, but i don't have a login, and don't plan to register. Can you at least get to the site? Or is the forbidden after you log in?

I can't even log into the website, let alone view the website. Literally, all I see is Error 403 and some information about this.

There is no way for me to speak to the webmaster, Uncle Buck about this, as I don't know his email or his Admin's email either.

Here is all I see more or less.

Garage Gazette is quite the fun website, so I definitely would like to go back there again.

yeah, I'm pretty sure that is going to be on their side, and something to do with your account. What info is in the links?

I figured this was on their end, but I am concerned that I was IP banned for some reason. Given that I've spoken to the admin and several of the mods before, I don't think that is the case, as I'd like to think they would talk to me first.

As for the url, all this states is www.thegaragegazette.com/index.php?board=3.0.

I have KB SSL enforcer installed on Chrome, but not enforced on their website though.

I hate to ask this, but if anyone is able to locate the email address to the web admin, which I think is Uncle Buck or Rusty, that would allow me to ask them directly.

As I mentioned prior, I thought I had a good relation with them.

I thought of calling my ISP, but cleared my caches both ways and even browser cookies, so if there is more that can be done, that is either out of my realm of knowledge.

try using your safari browser to see if you can reach it
I suspect that the site firewall is seeing you as a hacker or threat due to invalid headers being sent because of your KB ssl enforcer
and has put your IP in the black list

try this email address I have found listed for domain problems [email protected]

Does it happen on any other devices in your network or just your computer?

Hi, Im having the same problem but im in China using a VPN but only having an issue/getting error 403 with www.virtualtourist.com of which i have been using for years and has til 3 days ago been the easiest site to access from here - vpn not necessary but since getting router fixed and changing vpn gateway from Hongkong to somewhere in the USA access has been very fast ie to facebook is a good indication - but then stopped being able to access virtualtourist any which way.

so Ive taken your comment above that its probably taken my IP as a hacker/threat?
Ive tonight managed to use Firefox again when ive been using Internet Explorer for the past 2 months as had problems with cookies and couldnt work out how to deal with them to continue using FFox so swtiched back to IE, but tonight managed to open the FFox browser still no avail opening Virtualtourist - cleared caches on both IE and FFox still with no avail so installed Opera and of course still no access to VT. ive been able to access any other website ie this one, BBC news, google plus and hotmail. so seems to be issue with VT but what to do next?

If you are in China then it will be the Chinese Authorities blocking that site for whatever reason they feel is necessary. or the site owners blocking all access from China & from proxies & VPN. A lot of sites do block all proxy/VPN access as wella s large IP ranges in certain countries to block the spammers. Unfortunately sometimes innocent users get caught up in the fall out

We can't help you get round that and any attempt to do so would be against forum rules
