I recently installed all of the Win2000 updates and service packs and now I'm of course, having problems. What I've noticed so far seems to be video issues. Screensavers not running properly and programs not wanting to open. Any ideas? The error above is what I received when I tried to run the directX diagnostic tool.

    Two things to try,

    Firstly, reinstall or update DirectX

Secondly if that fails, try re-installing your graphics card driver

Click on the link above and redownload it over the top of your existing DirectX
