I am getting the following message when trying to boot up my computer....

"Windows cannot load. An error has occurred in the file VMM32.VXD. There is probably a damaged sector in this file. Windows will shutdown.

After 2-3 trys to reboot, the computer then will boot up properly and function fine. I ran scandisk and a diagnostic utility from Western Digital to check the hard drive - both OK.

Any help or comments would be appreciated.
