When attempting to insert JPG's into Corel WordPerfect 8 documents, I get "The file <filename> cannot be converted to a WPG2 image."

Has anyone else ever seen or heard of this problem? If so, any info or advice? Thanks...

If you've got a recent version of windows, you should be able to open that jpg in Paint and save it as a BMP.

I don't do WP, but maybe it just doesn't like JPG files.

WordPerfect will handle some JPG's fine.

If I open the images in MS Photo Editor, and re-save them, I can insert them into WP documents with no problem.

I guess there a different versions of the JPG standard.

    Any info or suggestions?

Not from me. I've had the same problems myself with different JPG formats. Never with other formats though. So I think you're right.
