When trying to download stationery for Outlook Express and Microsoft Product updates, I get error, "Error Locating Object Handler - There is no viewer available for the type of object you are trying to open."

address of object: http://208.62.161.143/stationery6/stationery7
Content type: application/octet-stream
Possible location of viewer: Microsoft Active X gallery
Do you want to go to this location to download?

When I click yes, it takes me to this -

Welcome to Microsoft ActiveX Controls Gallery
Macromedia Flash Player Control
Macromedia Shockwave Control
Microsoft Agent Control
Microsoft Chat Control
Microsoft DHTML Editing Control
Microsoft DirectX Files Viewer Control
Microsoft HTML Help Control
Microsoft Instant Messaging Service (IM) Contact View Control
Microsoft Investor Ticker Control
Microsoft Loan Amortize Control
Microsoft NetMeeting UI Control
Microsoft PowerPoint Animation Player Control
Microsoft Snapshot Viewer Control
Microsoft Surround Video Control
Microsoft Windows Media Player Control

But all these items seem to be installed already or nothing happens when I try to install.

Same for Product updates: application:/X-microsoft

Has no viewer.

I have win98se - oe5.0

Any ideas????

Whoo, hoo!! Rollin Rog you are the greatest. Fixed the problem by deleting the plug in "Extension" and was oh so careful to make sure I deleted extension not extensions (plural). Thanks for the added tip! Now do as the dormouse said, feed your head.

Thanks again!!!
